Shipping Policy

Everything you need to know about how Printprehub produces, ships, and delivers orders to your customers — including production times, carriers, and what happens when things go wrong.

Section 01
Overview

Printprehub is a print-on-demand fulfillment platform. Every product is made to order — meaning production begins only after a customer places an order. Total delivery time consists of two parts: production time (time to make the item) plus transit time (time for shipping).

Total delivery = Production time + Transit time. For example, a t-shirt shipped to the US takes 2–3 days to produce + 3–5 days to ship = approximately 5–8 days total from order to delivery.

All orders include tracking and are shipped from the nearest available production facility to minimize transit time and cost. Tracking information is automatically sent to your customer once an order ships.

Production Times

Production time is the number of business days required to print, inspect, and prepare an order for shipping. Times vary by product category and printing technique.

Peak season notice: During November and December (holiday season), production times may be extended by 1–2 additional business days due to increased order volumes. We recommend informing your customers of this during the holiday period.

Production times are counted in business days (Monday–Friday), excluding public holidays at the production facility location. Orders placed after 12:00pm local time may begin production the following business day.

Fulfillment Centers

Printprehub operates 6 production facilities worldwide. Orders are automatically routed to the nearest facility based on the delivery address, product type, and current facility capacity — ensuring the fastest and most cost-effective fulfillment.

Section 05
Carriers & Tracking

All orders are shipped with a tracking number. Tracking information is automatically pushed to your connected store (Shopify, Etsy, eBay, TikTok Shop, etc.) and your customer is notified by the platform once the order ships.

Our carrier network includes
  • United States & Canada: USPS, UPS, FedEx
  • United Kingdom: Royal Mail, DPD
  • European Union: DHL, DPD, local postal services
  • Australia & New Zealand: Australia Post, NZ Post, DHL
  • Asia-Pacific: DHL, EMS, local postal services
  • Middle East: DHL, Aramex
  • Rest of World: EMS, DHL

The specific carrier used for each order is selected automatically based on destination, package weight, and carrier availability. Tracking links are included in shipment confirmation notifications sent to your customers.

Tracking updates: After a tracking number is generated, it may take up to 24 hours for the carrier's system to show the first scan. This is normal and does not indicate a problem with the shipment.
Section 06
Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the product type, package weight, dimensions, and destination country. Exact shipping costs are displayed in your Printprehub dashboard before you confirm product pricing for your store listings.

How shipping costs work
  • Shipping costs are charged to the seller (you) per fulfilled order, in addition to the base production cost
  • You set your own retail price for your customers — shipping cost structure is entirely your choice
  • You can offer free shipping to customers by building the shipping cost into your retail price
  • Shipping cost estimates are shown when setting up product listings in your dashboard

Shipping rates may be updated periodically based on carrier rate changes. We will notify sellers of significant rate changes via email or in-platform notification.

Section 07
Customs & Import Duties

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees levied by the destination country. These charges are determined by the destination country's customs authority and are entirely outside our control.

Important notes for international orders
  • Customs fees and import duties are the responsibility of the recipient (your customer)
  • We are not able to predict customs fees in advance, as they vary widely by country and product type
  • Customs processing may add 1–5 additional business days to transit times
  • We accurately declare the contents and value of all shipments on customs forms and cannot alter these declarations
  • Orders held by customs are not considered lost until 4 weeks have passed since the last tracking update
Seller responsibility: We recommend informing your customers that international orders may incur customs fees at time of delivery, particularly for shipments to the EU, UK, Australia, and Canada.
Section 08
Lost or Delayed Orders

While the vast majority of orders are delivered without issues, delays and occasionally lost shipments do occur. Here is how we handle these situations:

Order considered lost when
  • Standard shipping: no tracking update for 20+ business days after the last scan
  • Express shipping: no tracking update for 10+ business days after the last scan
  • The carrier has confirmed the shipment as lost
What we will do
  • Reship the order at no additional cost once the shipment is confirmed as lost
  • Issue a full refund if reshipping is not possible or preferred
  • Work with the carrier to investigate and file a claim on your behalf

To report a lost or significantly delayed order, please contact us at payment@printprehub.com with your order number and last known tracking status. Claims for lost orders must be submitted within 60 days of the estimated delivery date.

Before reporting a lost order: Please verify the shipping address was entered correctly, check with neighbors or building reception, and allow extra time during peak seasons before contacting us.
Section 09
Address Errors

We ship orders to the exact address provided through your connected store. It is the seller's responsibility to ensure customer addresses are accurate and complete before orders are fulfilled.

Address correction policy
  • Before production begins: Contact us immediately at payment@printprehub.com — we may be able to update the address at no charge
  • After production but before shipping: We will attempt to update the address; a fee may apply
  • After shipping: Address changes are not possible. The order will follow its original routing

Orders returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery will be held for 14 days. We will contact you to arrange reshipping at an additional cost. If no response is received within 14 days, the order will be disposed of and no refund will be issued.

P.O. Boxes: Some carriers do not deliver to P.O. Box addresses. We recommend advising your customers to use a physical address when placing orders. We are not liable for delivery failures to P.O. Boxes.
